;stuck in a traffic jam

Today, I went swimming with a friend and i ordered fries. And unfortunately it rained halfway and also, i had tuition. So my mom came to fetch me so i had to rush back without bathing. I wrapped my towel around me and bounced into the car. It was raining cats and dogs. The rain was just pouring madly.

I was shivering in the car, half wet. We droved ( oh, sorry, i mean moved a few inches every 5 minutes.) and droved forever. It took so long, and i was shivering mad. And i was obviously late for tuition. 

As we drove trough there were trees almost falling and i was praying that it wouldn't fall on our car. 

The thunder and lightning were crazy.

And these few days have you noticed it's been raining more than ever?

I really hope the predictors aren't serious 2012 is gonna end. I mean, i don't really believe it. But... you never know.

Anyway, back on to the "traffic jam" subject.

I wasn't exactly late, it could be possible that i shower and eat my dinner within 5 minutes. I think.

So we reached finally, i jumped out of the car and ran upstairs and i showered. My mom prepared my dinner for me in a lunch box ( or maybe dinner box) for me to eat in the car.

And i showered as fast as i could.

And I actually caused a friend to be a tinsy winsy late, cos i rode in her car. 

But i guess we made it, with a few minutes late. But we weren't the only ones late though, two boys came after us. At least that made us look less bad.

Anyway, i laughed alot in tuition. 

I'm exhausted and i need to get some rest now.

My assignment.

Well, I'm assigned to do a short write-up about myself, by my future geography teacher. And i thought maybe i could share it with you, too. The first part may sound very familiar- hahaha.

Hey! My name is Julia, and I’m just an innocent young girl who loves exploring the outdoors, going shopping, floral prints, colorful things, going on bicycle rides, going to concerts, fresh mornings...etc.

And I love how people smile back at you when you smile at them. 

I like almost everything that is environmental friendly. But you see, i was in a shopping mall and they were having some kind of Save the Earth! session outdoors. Then the employes were wearing these Save the Earth! t-shirts. Then i saw a man wearing that t-shirt and he was smoking...  See the irony? And they were selling coconut ice cream, in a paper cup. Huh, paper cup. Shouldn't they use something that can be recycled? I mean, since they are participating in Save the Earth!. But anyway, let’s go back to talking about me.

Well, I’m a bookworm. I try to read whenever I’m free. I don’t go to the library so much. I’m really into Jaquelin Wilson’s books. I’ve read a great number her books, most of them requires single mom’s. I guess it’s because she’s a single mom herself. I also read Narnia, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter and those kind of novel books. 

Thus, i like taking long walks in fresh, cooling mornings. Sometimes i wake up in the morning and i go for a short walk outside. I take my camera, so i can take pictures of any flowers i pass by- even butterflies. 

Yes, i am able to do that because i am home-schooled. But not for long- I’ll be going to  a home-schooling centre soon. 

So right now I’m embracing each and every moment- like, being able to sleep in, and no homework.

But i’m really looking forward to my new centre- for social reasons. I’m an only child, so i’m a bit lonely at times. But my mother understands, so she often arranges for me to meet up with my old kindergarden buddies. 
And i most definitely hate the smell of smoke.

I appreciate all the kind words whenever I'm going trough some hard times. And i appreciate all your support in all i do.
And sometimes i take advantage, and i wish i hadn't.
My parents are the best thing in my life.
My friends comes in second.
Well, i'm not sure about the third.
But what matters most in life now is that i'm doing the right things, making right decisions, and not throwing myself to the dangerous edge of life.
I'm still young, tremendously- to be saying that.

I don't know what that line has to do with anything i just said. But that line appeals to me alot.
Well, I've had a swell day visiting my cousins today. I carried my new born cousin, about 5 months old. FOR THE FIRST TIME. He's so chubby and cute. Can't wait for my next trip to visit my cousins, and i can hold him in my hands again. Yipee.

These few days I've been eating all those unhealthy meals.

Well, maybe not exactly unhealthy. Just not healthy. Wut. I've been eating stuff that's not healthy and i say it's not unhealthy? I don't even know what I'm talking about. Sorry for the confusing-ness.

Pfft. Anyway, I'm not doing a very good job sticking to the subject. 

I feel guilty on my lack of healthy food. I am willing to eat more fruits, vegetables, and try not to get tempted to buy unhealthy food.

Well, i can say i'm a really skinny girl. So many people think i eat very little. That is so not true. I eat alot. Alot. Alot. Seriously. I eat so much.

I have dyed my hair today, and i cut it shorter. Like shoulder length. In the process of dying it, OH MAN, ONE PART, MY HEAD WAS LIKE MADLY ITCHY. SO ITCHY. THE ITCHINESS WAS CRAZY. I wanted to scratch it, but then my hand will become brown, the color of my hair- that i'm dying. But anyways, in the end- I loved it.

But anyway. I'm happy i had the experience of dying my hair.

I frightened an old man.

I frightened an old man today. And oh, man, it was so embarrassing. 
Like duh, of course, i didn't frighten him on purpose.


The story starts like this:
My dad goes to the toilet in a mall. He asks me to wait outside. Like way outside.
So i waited. And waited. And i eventually got bored. So i decided to go and frighten my dad. So i hid behind a wall and waited for a white shirt guy to come out. (And that's because my dad wore a white shirt. Yea.)
And then i vaguely saw a guy with a white shirt, about my dad's height.
Then, "BOOOOO!" I scared the old man, that wasn't my dad. Just some random person. I felt so embarrassed.
So anyway, he looked so disorientated and shocked. He kind of laughed a little bit, but still looked extremely shocked.
Then later on i told my dad about my embarrassing moment frightening the old man, that wore the same shirt like him.
My dad laughed. He laughed alot.

Ahhhhh, well, i've learnt my lesson.(: i think.

so like, i got a new dress yesterday while shopping with a friend.

You know, I've been having this long hair for at least 3years now, and i want a new hairstyle.

I've gotta stop spending money buying stuff now. I've been buying alot of new dresses, new skirts, and new belts lately. And i've actually got enough of those things. But when you see a nice dress, and it's cheap, THEN YOU JUST HAVE TO GET IT.
sigh.
I shall TRY to stop buying stuff for myself now. Start saving for my future, yeah.
My mom now calls me a shopaholic. Well, that's about to change. Now, she'll start calling me a saver. Because, i'm going to try my hardest to start saving money and just stop spending.

Brown Hair

So I'm going to dye my hair brown. Soon.
I'll take some pictures and post it here as soon as it's done.
I can't wait, but at the same time I've heard a lot of people say that dying your hair is damaging your hair.
That is, somehow and sadly true.
But either way I'm gonna dye it. Dark brown. :)

And also, i have not pierce my ears yet. Eesh. But I'm going to pierce it on my birthday this year. SO EXCITED.
But at the same time, I'm afraid my ears might get infected and it will be utterly painful.

But anyway, I'll be going to Australia in May. I'M SO EXCITED. I have never been there before, not once.

Sick :(

Sigh, i am currently sick now.
And I'm like, "out of all people, why ME?!". This is very frustrating. I can't do things like i normally do, i find it hard to talk, hard to move, but here i am. HAVING THE HEART TO BLOG. :)

Eating is not a problem for me. I still have the appetite. But i find it harder to swallow.
For the past 3 hours, I've been lying down in my garden's hammock playing with my dog. It seems to be one of the only things i could do without having to struggle.

It's about time i get my dog a new toy.
Right now, listening to "Gee" by "Snsd", somehow, i just never get sick of that song. It's a korean song and i hardly even know how to sing the lyrics but that's kind of why i can't get sick of it.
The only lyrics i know are "GEE GEE GEE GEE BABY BABY BABY" haha.

I have to rest now, friends are coming over to watch "Little Fockers" with me tomorrow. I hope i can get well by then. :)

Meantime, i'll just go rest and listen to music.

WHAT?!?

"WHAT?!?"

Woah. Can't believe what just happened. 

This actually happened quite randomly. I was eating at a coffee shop with my mom, and then this dude, around the age of 30? (just a guess) kept staring at me :| I thought my hair was too messy or something. He just kept staring, and staring, and i was like "WHAT IS YOUR PROB DUDE" of course, i didn't say that out loud. THANK GOD I DIDN'T. YOU'LL SEE. I only said it inside my head. Good thing.

Well, it's a good thing i didn't say that out loud was because he turned out to be related to something like film making, or a director, or something like that.

I went to pay the bill, and then i saw. YES, I SAW HIM TALKING TO MY MOM.

I thought he was complaining to my mom that my hair was just way too messy. 

I slowly walked over to the dude and my mom, and i caught a few words like

 'act' 'Amber Chia' 'movie' 'would she be interested'...

That only meant one thing... 

Then in my head i was like "WHAT?!?"

Then i saw my mom trying to keep from laughing, she seemed so shocked he wanted to roll on the floor to laugh.

But she didn't. It would be embarrassing. Turns out, the dude worked with Amber Chia before. In case you 

don't know who Amber Chia is, she's a malaysian model. SUPER PRETTY.

Anyway, back to the story.

My mom and him exchanged emails and he said he'd email us his profile. He told us this was not confirmed.

Then me and my mom headed for the car. Then when i closed the car door i asked my mom "WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT?"


"Are you interested in acting in a movie with Amber Chia? You'll be playing a part where you're Amber, growing up. But remember, this whole plan is still in the pipe line."


In my head there were many thoughts.
Then i asked "Will i get to meet her? Amber?"
With shocked, disbelieved eyes, my mother replied " YOU'LL BE ACTING WITH HER, DEAR"
Then she gave a sigh as if i didn't know anything she was talking about.
Which was partly true. I didn't know what to say , or do, i couldn't wait to spill out the news to my friends.
This could a a huge opportunity for me. But i don't know if i really want to do it.

that feeling

Hello, sorry, i haven't blogged since valentines day. Which was a long time ago :O

I've just been really busy and stuff. But don't fear, cos Julia is here! (to blog again) 

That was really lame. But anyway. 

It's been one of those moments where you feel, in life, that you have so many people to meet, so many goal's to achieve, so many things to do. SO MANY THINGS TO DO. Well, it's always good to have a goal. If you've achieved that goal, set another one. 

Well, see the title? Yeah. I have that feeling. That feeling, that in life, i'm one of the lucky ones. That i am lucky enough to have parents take care of me, lucky enough that i have education, lucky enough that i have lovely friends, lucky enough to be healthy and strong. That feeling, it's just so incredible. 

BE AN OPTIMIST. Just like me :)

Hahah, well that's about it for now. I also have another feeling. Another feeling that i'm hungry. SO TA-TA!

Happy momments

I've lived trough many miserable moments, but I've also had happy moments. (DUH). Moments like going shopping with friends and such, SPEAKING OF SHOPPING, i am so looking forward to my next shopping trip with my friends. Anyway, that's another story. Where was i? Ah, yes, happy moments. So I've had happy moments with my friends shopping.

Actually, I'd rather call it SPLENDID moments. Yesterday i went shopping with my BEST FRIENDS in 1Utama. We went to Forever 21, Cotton On, Kitschen, KFC, and Macdonalds. We tried on PLENTY of clothes. We took TONS of pictures. I had a WONDERFUL AND FANTASTIC TIME.

And today, the three of us went for badminton. OH HOW RUDE AM I!!! I EVEN FORGOT TO TELL YOU WHO THEY ARE. There are three of us. There is me, Ashley, and Wei Lynn. They are the most awesome friends ever. Anyway. Where was I? Ah, yes, badminton. We played badminton, girl talked and and ate Ice Cream.

THE HOLIDAYS

THE HOLIDAYS ROCKS. Have i mentioned i love holidays? Well, if i have not, I DO! I LOVE HOLIDAYS! [Obviously]. 


Chinese new year was great. I stayed in Hard Rock Hotel. The pool was awesome. The breakfast buffet was incredible. The service was terrific.  It really is such a blessing.


Before i stayed in Hard Rock Hotel, i stayed in my auntie's three story house. I was in Penang for Five days, for CNY. [I should have mentioned that earlier, but oh well.] I got alot of new CNY clothes. Have you? Well, here's some pictures of the hotel's pool, and a whole lot of me.

Chinese New Year is Approaching!

Chinese New Year is approaching! I'm going to Penang! I seriously can't wait.

LOL! Anyway. I love Chinese new year cos you get to buy new stuff. Like, new dresses and shirts and hair accessories.

Anyway. If your wondering how my year has been, it felt like it was still 2010. 2010, I'll never forget you. It's probably an inappropriate time to mention 2010.

The picture above is me, Lisa, and Lee-Ling. They are going to to Australia soon. So we had a farewell dinner. At FULL HOUSE YO. The dinner was so cool. They had so many fancy chairs and stuff. We took lots of pictures. It's on Facebook. "Shining Stars". Go and have a look!

Time or Money?

Is Time or Money more precious? Which is more important? Some of you may be thinking money, some may be thinking time.

Me? I'll be one of the people who are thinking time.
You see,
you can't do ANYTHING without time. And everything that you do, you need time.

And money, even without money you can still do things. But money IS very precious too.

But seriously, time is more important and more precious.


Anyway. Last night, i had the weirdest dream. I dreamed that the clock stroked 12am, and all my toys came alive. Then i woke up. Seeing that it's 12.05am and my toys were having a party using my crayons and my doll house.
PS. I don't actually HAVE a doll house, but i dreamed i had one. Which is really weird. Cos i don't even WANT a doll house.

So they were throwing a party and i just stood there, deciding whether to believe it or not. My doll was a singer, PS. I DON'T HAVE A DOLL. IT WAS JUST IN MY DREAM.
So my doll was a singer, my my teddy bear was a DJ. PPS. This time, i DO have a teddy bear.

And so that's  the vague background about my weird dream. It seemed cool, and it seemed weird. I actually felt like joining the party that they threw. It looked so cool. And my shoe box was the stage for the party. -_-. I found that very... weird.

But it was a very imaginative dream i guess. YEAH.

As you've hardly noticed, i have not have my ears pierced yet. So this year my mom will bring me to pierce my ears on my birthday. Which is June 14! I can't wait. But i am well, scared. I'm scared of the pain that will reach me when my ears suddenly have a whole in it. After that my mom will get me a few pairs of earrings. Well, it's what she said.

But, OH WELL! Honestly, i was actually LOOKING FORWARD to learn again. Well, not maths, not those hard ones. Just vocabulary. I just suddenly had an urge to learn new words. Well, anyway. I just appreciate my friends so much. You can easily see the difference from the way i treated my friends [well, BEST FRIENDS. ;)] when i first met them and to the way i treat them NOW. 
The first time i met them i thought they were so pretty and cool. I totally wanted to make friends with them. And then,well guess what? I DID. Pretty soon we were pretty close. Then i started to act more like myself. And so now, THEY ARE THE BEST FRIENDS EVER.
